today

Things I enjoyed today:
-Walking to studio, and getting across an entire path without lifting my feet due to the sheet of ice. I felt like a little kid as I slipped and slid across the muddy, glassy surface. Picture forthcoming.
-Fogging up one of the lenses of my glasses, then closing one eye, then the other as I looked up at the streetlights. Foggy with a rainbow ring, then bright and clear. Foggy, then clear. I found it interesting how such a pretty rainbow ring could be right in front of me, and yet I couldn't see it until my vision was skewed.
-Ending choir tonight with a four-part "Ding, Dong Merrily on High", which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Things I enjoyed not so much today:
-The pink, rough patches appearing on my hands due to dry skin. Need more lotion!
-Nearly falling on my bum on the aforementioned path.
-Knowing that the person behind me on the path was probably having a good chuckle. Suppose I would too, though.

And now, back to my studio model.
